Team Lumina is expanding!

We have some good news—Team Lumina is expanding! Starting in April, Laura will be joining our team at the Lumina Community Center. With her many years of experience as a teacher, she’s a valuable addition, and we’re thrilled to have her on board.

Thanks to the expansion of the team, both community centers are now open five days a week, offering a wide variety of activities, and we are able to launch new programs. Starting in April, we will also begin offering homework help for the children, so that we can support them even better,  

Due to negative changes in the mainstream education system, she decided to quit her job. Among other things, the ban on providing individual attention and social-emotional support to children plays a major role in this decision. It is precisely these children who desperately need that special attention and guidance before they can even begin to grasp a history lesson or a math problem.

At the Lumina Community Center, personal attention is our top priority. We place great value on social-emotional support.  

We look forward to working with Laura so that we can make an even greater impact on the children and teens in Codlea.
