How Our Missionary Work Helped Emanuel
Emanuel is 15 years old. He can no longer go to school, and no one encourages him to do so. His parents are often working and do not take care of him. Because his parents are always away, Emanuel also looks after his 1-year-old brother. Instead, he primarily hangs out on the street. Here, he meets friends who do not have his best interests at heart. Drug use and dealing is a significant problem among these boys. He has no hope or future perspective.
After he has visited Lumina a few times, trust begins to grow. He has made new friends. His pattern has changed, and he shares how this has affected him.
