New Year’s Eve Fundraiser for the Zalomi Foundation

This year, the traditional New Year’s Eve fundraiser—organized by a family involved in missionary work—was partly for the Zalomi Foundation.

A few weeks ago, we received a special phone call from a family that has been involved in Codlea, Romania, for many years. Although circumstances prevent them from continuing to be active in that city themselves, they were moved by our work there and wanted to give something back.

This family has decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from their traditional New Year’s Eve fundraiser to the Zalomi Foundation. For us, this is an incredibly kind gesture and a source of great encouragement. This contribution enables us to continue supporting our community centers in Codlea.

Thanks to the team’s hard work and enthusiasm, we sold plenty of treats. The selection ranged from oliebollen and apple fritters to various chicken snacks. All proceeds will go toward activities at our community centers.

Another organization was also able to participate in this initiative: the Albania Committee Foundation.
