To maximize local involvement, we believe in collaborating with local residents. They know the language and culture like no one else, which leads to a more efficient connection.
That is why the Zalomi Foundation opts for a mix of paid and volunteer facilitators at community center Zalomi. This way, you can provide quality, as it’s ultimately about people.
Moreover, this approach also stimulates employment within the area. Additionally, Zalomi aims to establish the community center as an independently operating entity. This way, it becomes sustainable and is not dependent on just one or two people. The idea is that it continues from generation to generation, how wonderful is that?!
